Elissa Bajac, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Elissa is a registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to supporting women and mothers through transitional life phases. With an integrative approach to care, she combines psychotherapeutic strategies with an OT perspective, drawing on techniques such as CBT, ACT, IPT, mindfulness, self-compassion, and neuroscience to provide holistic, evidence-based support.

Elissa’s career has been rooted in helping individuals navigate life changes following accidents, injuries, illnesses, pain, and other disruptions. After her own transformative postpartum experience, she recognized the vital role OT can play in perinatal and maternal care. Now a mother of two vibrant and spirited children, Elissa has shifted her focus to helping women and mothers during these pivotal stages that often upend roles, routines, relationships, and emotional well-being.

As an OT, Elissa empowers her clients to regain balance, rediscover their sense of self, and thrive in their current season of life. She supports clients in managing the demands of life transitions by establishing routines and strategies grounded in their personal values. Through personalized treatment plans and a collaborative approach, she helps her clients embrace their new rhythm with confidence.

Elissa is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and holds professional memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). She is committed to continuous learning through mentorship, peer consultation, and ongoing education to ensure her skills remain current and aligned with the latest research.
